Community Lunches
On the first Sunday of each month (except for January and August) we provide a lunch for people in the local community who would otherwise be on their own. It is an ideal opportunity to meet with others in a similar situation and enjoy a meal together and have a chat.
The meal is free, but so that we know how many people to cater for we would appreciate it if you could contact us by email or telephone on 020 8309 9717, leaving your name and number.
Police Community Support Officer drop- ins
The local police Safer Neighbourhoods Team holds a Sunday morning community drop-in every three weeks, alternating between SBC, Christchurch and St Lawrence’s. So the team visits us after the morning worship one in every nine Sundays, in the church hall. These community drop-ins last for about half an hour to an hour and are meant for anyone wanting to have a quick chat with their local officers.
